How to order

When ordering a suit online please make sure that you have visited the size chart for guidance. Most of our suits are slim fit suits, therefor the pants are a tight fit and will require you to order a size or 2 bigger than normal.  For example, if you were a size 32 pants or jean rather order a 34 or even a 36 pants especially if your thighs or calves are well formed.

If your pants size is different from your jacket size, please send us an email to enquire if it is possible for us to exchange the pants for a different size.  This is not always possible but we will try and assist as far as possible.

Jackets are made according to shoulder and arm lengths and the width of your back so make sure that you visit the size chart.  Please do not assume that if you are a size 36 or large shirt that your suit jacket will also be a size 36.

Jacket sizes are available from a size 48 to a size 68, these sizes are not your normal size, the size gets converted to the following:

Jacket size 48 – 32 (normal size)

Jacket size 50 – 34 (normal size)

Jacket size 52 – 36 (normal size)

Jacket size 54 – 38 (normal size)

Suit Up Questions

Please contact us should you have any enquiries.

Can I wear a suit without a tie?

It depends on the event you are going to, if it is a formal event the answer is yes the tie forms a very important part of your suit.  If the event is semi-formal or semi-casual then a tie is not needed.  So be sure to make sure what is the proper dress code for the event you will be attending.

How can I prevent my suit from wrinkling?

The answer is very, easy you can not prevent your suit from wrinkling. You can however look after your suit, by hanging it up on a proper hanger after wearing it.  By hanging up your suit it reduces the likelihood of the suit wrinkling.

A useful tip if your suit has wrinkles and you do not have the means to take the suit to the dry cleaners and you do not own a steamer:  Hang your suit in the bathroom while the shower is turned on at its hottest.  The warm water produces steam, which will eventually smooth out the wrinkles. Remember to keep your suit away from the water you want the suit steamed and not soaked.

What colour suits are appropriate for business?

In our modern society and era, the most popular colours are; navy, grey, tan, olive and in some cases brown.

Navy and grey are the most popular because they look good with the hair, eye and skin tones of most men and let’s face it dark colours are very slimming.

Black is a very formal colour; traditionally black suits have been acceptable only for social events such as funerals and evening functions.  They were not seen as appropriate for business because they were “too” powerful.

What colour shoe should I wear with my suit?

With a grey suit try and wear black or brown shoes, just make sure that if it is a light grey colour you go with a lighter brown shoe and not dark, whereas with a dark grey suit, you will rather wear a black shoe or a dark brown shoe.

With a blue suit, rather go for your brown shoe.  Black can also be worn depending on the colour of the blue suit you are wearing.

With tan and olive colours go for brown shoes as well, do not go for a black shoe.

Please remember if your shoes are brown, wear a brown belt.  If your shoes are black, wear a black belt.

Should socks match my shoes or pants?

Yes, if your socks are lighter than your pants and shoes people will first notice your socks before the rest of your outfit.

How do I know what colour suit will fit my skin tone?

You get 3 types of skin tones; The warm tone, the cool tone and the neutral tone.

Warm tones:  They are usually golden, yellow or peachy, normally with brown hair to strawberry blonde hair.  Warm tones also usually have dark brown to hazel colour eyes.

Warm tones should focus on wearing earth tones like for example; Browns, off-whites, warm greens and reds.

Cool tones:  Cool skin tones include both pink and blue, normally with blond, falling into the bluish-black to silver-blonde hair category.  Eye colour is typically green, blue or deep brown.

Cool tones should focus on wearing blues, purples, cooler greens and cooler shades of red.

Neutral tone:  Neutral tones usually have a mixture of both warm and cool tones.  Hair is usually black to dark brown.  The eye colour can be any shade from brown to blue.

Please note that this is just a guideline.

Can you do alterations?

Unfortunately, we do not do any alterations. Please view our size chart for guidance in ordering the correct size.

How do I know what is the correct size suit for me?

Please click on the size chart for guidance. Also, take note, if your normal pants size is a 32 please order a size 34 or 36 – the suits are slim fits and might be very tight around the thigh and calves.

If your shirt is a size 32 please do not order a size 32(50) jacket, first measure your shoulders, the width of your back and the length of the arm.

What do I do if my size is not in stock of a certain suit I like?

You are more than welcome to send us an email or message and we can let you know if we are able to source the specific size you are looking for.
